This compressive coded antenna system represents a new agile, low-cost, flexible technology capable of generating codification in space, time, frequency, polarization and phase. Dynamically controlling coded electromagnetic fields in multiple dimensions has the potential to enhance the current performance of currently deployed radar systems used in surveillance, detection, tracking, discrimination, while using a minimum amount of transceivers and resources that not only reduce the cost and complexity of the system but also contribute to decrease its overall energy consumption.
